GB News star Stephen Dixon has opened up on being the victim of a brutal fat shaming jibe – from his People’s Channel colleague Polly Middlehurst.
TfL’s (Transport for London) decision to ban a comedy show’s advert due to it ‘promoting obesity’ provoked discussion on GB News, and Dixon spoke out on his personal experience of being fat shamed.
Speaking on his experience of coming face-to-face with Polly on the matter, he said: “The one time I lost a load of weight is when a colleague at an old place, who now works here, said ‘haven’t you got fat?’
“I was mortified and offended at the time, but it worked. She was right, and I lost a load of weight as a result.
“It was Polly Middlehurst. She did say to me, ‘haven’t you got fat?’ She is blunt! She does not mince her words.”
