Aston Villa fans have criticised their manager Unai Emery following their heavy loss to Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.
Spurs scored four goals in the second half to win 4-0 and close the gap on their opponents to just two points, with a game in hand.
Villa had their moments in the first half but perhaps tired in the second following their Europa League exploits in midweek, while also having John McGinn sent off for a poor tackle on Destiny Udogie at 2-0.
Tottenham took advantage and stormed to an impressive victory at Villa Park, with four different players getting on the scoresheet.

Emery decided to change formation for the match, switching to a back five in an attempt to thwart Spurs’ attacking threat.
But it didn’t work and fans pointed the finger at the former Arsenal boss for how he set the team up.
One wrote on X: “Unai got it wrong. Villa Park advantage out of the window with such a passive set-up and completely new formation in the biggest game of the season so far made little sense.
“McGinn ban is going to have a massive impact. 4th suddenly seems very far away.”
Another fan wrote: “Awful setup from Emery. Threw that game away.”
A third fan posted: “Emery got it wrong today, 5 at the back Tielemans out wide just very confusing.”
While another said: “Ignoring the red the worst part of the game was the cowardly set up from Emery, set us up to fail from the start.”
Emery has had a great impact on Villa in the last 18 months, leading them from the lower end of the table into Champions League contention.
But some fans are questioning whether he has what it takes to lead Villa to the next stage.
One wrote: “I’m beginning to see why Emery failed at Arsenal.
“Don’t get me wrong he’s a good manager but not the elite manager everyone keeps saying. He set us up to fail today and played right into Spurs’ hands.”
While another X user posted: “Emery is not a good manager.”

Some Villa fans are choosing to stay optimistic though and back Emery.
One wrote: “Yes Emery got his tactics wrong today, and everything went wrong.
“But we’re still in a great position and punching above our pay grade. Write this one off now and make amends Thursday.”
Another fan posted: “Anyone questioning Emery in his first full season as Villa manager with the majority of this squad he inherited still then you need to take a step back and realize how lucky we are to have him at Villa.”
