Acceptance of these terms
Welcome to Daily News Blend, an independent digital news outlet published by 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067. By accessing or using dailynewsblend.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms, and the current version will always be published on this page with its effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
The service
The site publishes original news, explainers, video context, author archive pages and informational pages across World, Politics, Business, Technology, Sports, Entertainment, Health, Science and Video. Content is provided for general information and personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing. News develops, and a story may be updated or corrected after publication in line with our Corrections policy. The date and content of a story speak as of its publication or last update, and we are not obliged to update every older story when later events occur.
Editorial independence and bylines
Stories are published under named staff desk bylines. A desk byline identifies the editorial team responsible for a section, not a fictional individual, and archive pages describe each desk's beat and standards. Advertising and sponsorship are separated from editorial decisions, and sponsored material, where accepted, is labelled. Nothing on the site is paid editorial coverage unless it is clearly identified as sponsored.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site. That includes not attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, not interfering with security or performance, not scraping or copying the site at a scale that burdens its operation or infringes rights, not submitting unlawful, defamatory, infringing, harassing or malicious material through the contact form, and not impersonating the outlet, its desks or any person. You are responsible for the messages you send us and for keeping any credentials you use with third-party services secure.
Intellectual property
The site's text, original reporting, design, logos, wordmarks and other materials are owned by 24World Media, the outlet or their licensors and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may read, share links to, and quote brief excerpts from our stories with credit and a link for personal and commentary purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, syndicate or create derivative commercial products from substantial parts of the site without prior written permission, except where the law allows fair use or a licence expressly permits it. Third-party images are licensed and credited in their attachment records and remain the property of their rights holders. Video embeds remain the property of their channels and providers.
User messages and tips
When you send a tip, correction or enquiry, you confirm that you have the right to share the material and that doing so does not breach any law or duty of confidence owed to another party. You give us permission to review, store and use the material for editorial, legal and operational purposes, including contacting you about it. Submitting a tip does not guarantee publication, payment or confidentiality, although we treat sensitive sources with appropriate care and discuss terms where that is necessary.
Third-party links and embeds
Our stories link to and embed material from third parties, including official statements, data sources, reputable reporting and official video channels. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link or embed is a reference for readers, not an endorsement of every view expressed by the third party.
Advertising
Advertisements are identified as advertising where required and are the responsibility of the advertiser. We may reject or remove advertising that is misleading, unlawful or incompatible with a family-safe news environment. The presence of an advertisement does not mean the outlet endorses the advertised product, service or claim.
Disclaimers
News, market, health and science coverage is information, not professional advice. Market data and figures are given as of their stated dates and sources, may be delayed or revised by their providers, and are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Health coverage summarises studies and official guidance and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site is provided as available, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, 24World Media, Daily News Blend and their staff and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content, or from reliance on information that later develops or is corrected. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law so provides.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and, where applicable, the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another state's law. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois unless applicable law gives you a mandatory right to bring them elsewhere. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent through the Contact page or to [email protected]. Daily News Blend, published by 24World Media, 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067. Effective date: 10 October 2026.
Accounts and features
Some features of a news website, now or in the future, may invite readers to register, subscribe, comment or save preferences. Where such a feature is offered, its specific instructions form part of these terms. You must provide accurate information where a feature requires it, keep credentials confidential and notify us if you believe an account or submission has been misused. We may suspend or remove access, submissions or form privileges where these terms are breached or where doing so is needed for security, legal compliance or protection of other readers. Registration is currently not required to read the news published on this site, and any future change will be reflected in the features actually offered.
Availability and changes to the site
We may change, suspend or withdraw sections, features, layouts or content at any time, including for maintenance, legal, security or editorial reasons. We try to keep planned disruption proportionate and to restore normal service promptly. Older stories may remain available as an archive even where a section design changes. A change to the site does not amend the record of what was published on a given date for legal or corrections purposes, and confirmed errors continue to be handled under the Corrections policy.
Complaints and notices
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice through the Contact page identifying the content, its location, the right relied on and your authority to act. We review credible notices promptly and may remove or disable access to material where required. Counter-notices and repeat-infringer questions are handled under applicable law. For other complaints, the Contact page is the first route, and the Corrections page explains how factual complaints about stories are reviewed.
Entire agreement and severability
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific terms actually presented to you, are the main terms governing use of this site. Headings are for convenience. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. If a court holds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable part should be read, where possible, in the narrowest way that makes it lawful.
